Kyra Women’s Project has been announced as one of two major beneficiaries of the York Rotary Dragon Boat race next year, which marks Kyra’s 10th anniversary. Rosemary, CEO, and Katrina, one of the crew on this year’s Dragon Boat (pictured above) attended the 2022 Awards Ceremony at the Mansion House in York last night to hear the fantastic news. The evening, hosted by the Lord Mayor of York with the Civic Party, saw the presentation of prizes to winning teams from this year’s race, and the announcement of next year’s beneficiaries.

“We are so thrilled to be one of the charities chosen to benefit from next year’s race”, said Rosemary. “We love having a team in the race to raise money for Kyra but to receive a share of every team’s fundraising is a dream come true – particularly in our 10th anniversary year.”
