Kyra’s review of the year from October 2021 to September 2022 is now available on the website. Featuring a visit from Dame Penelope Wilton, our Patron, at the celebrations for the late Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, a very hot Dragon Boat race and the installation of a new kitchen on the Kyra premises, it was a very busy and exciting 12 months for the charity. We were delighted that our Founder, Yvonne Copley, was recognised with an MBE in the New Year Honours List, and our Chair, Lisa Winward, received the Queen’s Police Medal. Meanwhile our amazing team of volunteers delivered our courses and activities, week in, week out, for another year, ensuring that women in York could make positive changes to their lives.
