Sunday’s Yorkshire Marathon and 10 mile run saw a team of runners compete to raise funds for Kyra. The team included trustees Lisa and Nicola, head counsellor Ann (all pictured above) and Time to Shine Leadership intern, Isabel. Completing the course which started and finished at the University of York, and wound through the centre and outlying villages, our runners were joined by thousands of others including a dinosaur!

Isabel said: “It was lovely to run through the villages and even better to run past the crowds in the city, cheering us on. I didn’t think I’d make it and my legs still haven’t recovered!”

Between them the team has already raised over £1100 for the charity, much needed funds to keep all our services running through the difficult winter ahead – to add to their total, you can use the Donate button at the top of this page.
