Kyra was delighted to be at the glittering York Press Community Pride awards ceremony last night at York Racecourse. Nominated in the ‘community project of the year’ category, we were in great company with lots of amazing individuals and organisations. Although we didn’t win, we were very proud and humbled to be one of three finalists in our category. Every finalist’s story was inspirational and we were proud to share our table with one of the Spirit of Youth nominees.
There were a lot of amazing stories of work done during the pandemic, including by The Snappy Trust, which won community project of the year – congratulations to them, and to all our fellow finalists for their dedication during unprecedented times.
