Kyra Women’s Project will be celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with the creation of hand-crafted commemorative frieze made by its members. Thanks to funding from the Arts Council England and National Lottery, the charity’s members will be able to come together in a series of special crafting workshops to produce the wall art which will hang in Kyra.

Rosemary Cook, Kyra’s CEO, says: “The frieze will commemorate the Queen’s long-service to the country and also the perseverance, resilience and staying power of our members who have made positive changes in their lives after difficult times.”

The project starts in May and the frieze will be unveiled and celebrated at a Jubilee event in June.
