Thanks to funding from York’s Guildhall Ward earlier this year, Kyra was able to completely refurbish the courtyard garden at the Central Methodist Church where the charity is based. This included restocking a herb bed with a wide range of culinary and sensory herbs. Now, after a summer of warmth and heavy rainfall, the herbs are thriving and Sally Duncan, who leads Kyra’s cookery courses for members, is thrilled to be using them in her cookery sessions. Today’s session features easy and cheap Greek dishes, with home-grown mint and oregano featuring strongly!
