Kyra members have been preparing the decorations for Kyra’s tree in the Minster’s first Christmas tree festival. A group of members will be there to decorate the tree next Wednesday, and they have already produced a box full of unique baubles, each one created individually – no shop bought decorations for us!

Alongside the contents of each bauble, members have added key words that say something about what Kyra means to them. They include ‘safe’, ‘inclusive’, ‘friendship’ and ‘hope’, as well as ‘tea’ and ‘cake’!

The aim is that the many people who visit the Christmas tree festival will learn something about Kyra and how important our support is for women in York and surrounding areas. The festival runs from 18 November to 6 January and includes the chance to vote for the best-dressed tree.

📷 Recently @heartandsoulwithsophie has led powerful sessions on resilience, gratitude, and self-care strategies, including a sound bath with the ROSE group.
Thank you, Sophie, for running these sessions for ROSE
