We are really grateful to Torque Law LLP who have donated money to help us decorate a Christmas tree as part of York Minster’s first Christmas Tree Festival! The first box of decorations has arrived with lots of fillable baubles, and members are lining up to help. We are delighted to have been chosen to decorate a tree – it’s a great way to tell many more people about the help and support available to women from Kyra. Members are making most of the decorations themselves and are taking the chance to share what Kyra means to them by pasting key words onto the baubles. You may also spot the Kyra butterfly theme! The Christmas tree festival opens on 18 November and runs until New Year.
