Two teams of Kyra runners completed the Yorkshire Marathon relay race on Sunday, bringing home the baton in spite of the pouring rain! Made up of members, volunteers and trustees, the teams were cheered on in the city centre by Kyra supporters before they headed out into the countryside to loop round Stamford Bridge and race back to the University. As well as completing the race, the team triumphed in fundraising, securing over £2000 to bolster Kyra’s funds and enable the charity to continue supporting women from York and surrounding areas.
